As a Founder and C-Suite Executive, completed funding for early-stage companies from inception through product commercialization. The range of new companies funded as a founder include deep-tech companies: battery, capacitors, photonics, and specialty materials; as well as financial services companies: insurance, debt & equity funds, Leasing, and M&A advisory. Most recent examples include a radioisotope battery technology and a photonics communication technology.
Radioisotope Battery - IP licensed from Sandia National Labs and University of New Mexico. Initial capital two $2.5M convertible notes, an early IQT investment.
Laser Comm and Directed Energy - Proprietary IP in optical epitaxy and chip processing. Raised over $4M non-VC equity from Institutions, Individuals, and Crowdfunding. Won over $2.5M US DOD Phase II and NSF Phase I grants. Secured 1st US patent toward 15 patents overall.

Task - Sea-Based Rocket Launch Platform
Action
Structured and led several Senior debt and Project Financing funding packages of approx. $800M for a $3.5B multinational joint venture formed to commercialize equatorial maritime launches. The founding partners included Boeing Commercial Space Company, Kvaerner Maritime, KB Yozhnoye, and RSC Energia. The financing model was unusual: each partner was responsible for major system components and contributions of equity either in-kind or cash with the remainder debt financed.

Task - Aircraft Investment Fund
Action
Established and managed a US$ 1.25B commercial aircraft closed-end investment fund. As the Global Head of a €14B portfolio of Transport assets, lease management entities were established in Ireland, Singapore, and Germany. These management entities were then used to source investment opportunities in aircraft, rail cars, or infrastructure depending on the fund. The this was one of several investment funds and new ventures in transport asset management that were created.
